MAFI at Gulfood 2026 — Exhibition Video Production & 24-Hour Delivery

\n\n

Overview

MAFI — an Egyptian agri-food manufacturer based in Sadat City — has worked with Mirror Production House across three Dubai exhibition appearances: two booth documentation projects and their debut at Gulfood 2026. The work spans video production, photography, and 360° camera coverage. The defining moment in the relationship came during the first Dubai booth project, when we committed to and delivered a finished, edited video within 24 hours of the shoot.

The Production Challenge

Exhibition coverage has a short shelf life. A video from a trade show is most useful in the 48 hours after the event — for follow-up emails to leads, social posts while the event is still trending, and internal reporting. A standard post-production timeline of several days misses the window entirely.

For the first Dubai booth project, MAFI needed the video ready to use the next morning. That meant filming, logging footage, cutting, grading, and delivering — overnight.

The additional complexity on the booth projects was format: alongside standard video and photography, MAFI wanted 360° camera documentation of the booth itself. That adds a separate capture workflow, separate post-processing, and a different deliverable format that has to be handled in parallel without slowing down the main video.

At Gulfood 2026 — the world’s largest food and beverage sourcing event — the brief scaled up. The booth was part of a larger exhibition environment, B2B meetings were running alongside the public-facing display, and the coverage needed to capture product quality and buyer interactions rather than just the booth’s visual design.

How We Approached It

24-hour delivery: The filming schedule was structured to wrap in time for an overnight edit. Footage was logged on-site during any downtime in the shoot, so the editor could start cutting immediately rather than spending the first two hours of post-production just reviewing material. The colour grade was done as part of the same overnight session, not as a separate pass. The video was delivered before the next business day started.

360° integration: The 360° camera ran as a separate capture alongside the standard video crew, not as a replacement for it. Both deliver different things: the standard video tells a story with framing and movement; the 360° gives the client a document of exactly how the booth looked and was arranged. They went out as separate deliverables.

Gulfood coverage: The filming approach shifted toward the people at the booth rather than the booth itself — B2B conversations, product handling, buyer reactions — because that footage is more useful for MAFI’s sales and marketing audience than architectural shots of the stand.
